Unfortunately, life interrupts. I will be gone for the next 3 days attending a convention of sorts and will probably not be able to recap any of the game during that time period.
That means missing Osaka Touin, Oogaki Nichidai, Toukaidai Sagami, Hokushou, and the majority of 2nd round games which involve teams that have won their 1st round games to this point.
This will be the furthest I've ever been behind in recapping a Koshien Tournament since I started live blogging it.
I apologize to all my readers for the lack of coverage. Remember, if you have time to spare, you can watch the archives on MBS (see link on right). Generally, full inning recaps are posted about half a game behind live action.
I'm even behind my own schedule. With 2 rainouts, I should have been caught up or behind just the Imabari Nishi-Mie game. But chatting in the JapanseseBaseball chat room slows me down (not that I don't enjoy talking with you guys! It's just the truth). And so I'm 2.6 games behind. Plus the 9 means 11.6...

I didn't watch it, but Hifumi is out. Crazy. That should at least make your life a little easier...
I saw that at the airport. I'm curious to see what happened to him.
