So, Shimabukuro and the Kounan squad get to punch their ticket to Koshien! It was a rout in the finals against Itoman, as Shimabukuro pitches a complete game 9-1 win.
Funny note, the sole run Shimabukuro gave up to Itoman was a homerun to Shimabukuro. Heh.
With Kounan part of the field, they will have the chance to hold both the spring and summer titles in the same year.
Getting through the prefectural stage is the first part (and sometimes most dangerous). But for them it's now a waiting game to see who else qualifies.
